Sorry lol

I feel bad for giving you less than a 10 with such an epic streak of 10's but I don't think it's THAT good. Don't get me wrong, you've got a great singing voice, and the guitar riffs are fantastic. The lyrics are good and don't sound cheesy or anything.

All in all I'd say it's a great song, not something I would personally ever listen to again, but you're a good musician so keep up the good work.

Weird

This is super weird, but in a good way. I'm not even sure I can think of any criticism to give you. I mean, it's certainly not boring, and doesn't seem to be lacking anything really. It's really different and cool sounding.

Around 2:00 you added some new sounds that sounded really good, and the build up and break was awesome. I totally agree with you on the computer voice though, lol. That would sound really cool. Maybe you can just make it say "break" or something simple like that. All in all definitely a cool and interesting song. Downloading this.

mjattie responds:

hahaha thanks xD you know, that's actually a very good Idea.. "Break" I actually might use that one haha.

thank you for the review!

Uhm

Idk what to say about this. Nothing really seems to blend at all. The main beat just sounds terrible...not to mention what exactly does the name of the song even mean? Did you mean to type 'bastard?'

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but all these random noises don't seem to blend at all. That and the main beat sounds just way too low...

Not to mention this is absurdly repetitive...by the end of the song I was just ready for that low sound to stop.

horsebugger responds:

no worries, i welcome the feedback, rather a true bad review than a fake good one.

yeah i did think that its a bit repetitive, when i made it. the name of the was just what i saved it as, and just decided to use it as the name.

Not bad

Very relaxing and very well made. Everything blends really well and the track was enjoyable to listen to. Struck me as a tad boring, but maybe you were going for a super chill song, which is okay too.

I'd say all in all it was a good track. I'll download this for my Chill mix =)

MobiusIII responds:

I appreciate your review! Chill was definitely the name of the game here, it is Ice Cap after all :P. Thanks for giving some feedback, glad you enjoyed it.

Nice

Right off the bat this sounded good, and as it progressed I was impressed with the punchy sound of that synth, it just sounded amazing. I have the track "I remember" on my iTunes and honestly I can't even tell what sample you took from it. The whole track really sounds pretty good and I hope you continue to make music.

I'll have to agree that it was a bit repetitive and boring after 3 minutes of it, but the sounds are all great.

Oh...real music, lol...

Well, it's not really my thing, and it kinda upsets me that you used the genre "heavy metal" because this really is NOT metal to me at all...The guitars weren't distorted enough and there was NO screaming. To me, that's just a rock song. HOWEVER, it's obvious that a lot of effort was put into this, and I totally respect that.

The band seems to blend together really well, and I think you did a fantastic job mixing the instruments. The vocals are okay, and I think the song got much better at about 4:00. The guitar seemed punchy and the vocals were cool, but then after that part it sounded like a punk song all the sudden....

5/10

Sorry for the low rating, but nothing really stands out in this to me. It seems so unoriginal and trendy. It just sounds waaay too generic for my liking. You should add some personality and maybe some fades in here, or just anything really. Maybe that's just me, but it's my opinion...

I don't really think the beginning of this is appropriate for a trance track either. After the radio part, the way you built up was cool - and I did like that part - but after that it was just one loud trendy trance noise with zero character.

Good

Well, the loop sounds great, and everything is blended together very well. It doesn't really stand out to me as an extraordinary track, but I can see that you obviously have a lot of potential here. I like some of the sounds you used a lot, others not so much, and maybe it's because I grew out of the techno stage and branched out into more of a chill electronic genre. Hell, could be because I'm half asleep, not sure. Either way, keep up the good work, you've got a lot of potential.

BAZmotherfucker responds:

Potential. Word. Can't really say I was going for something extraordinary, I probably put the least effort into this one out of all my tracks. Chill electronic stuff is dope though, I keep wanting to make some more trippy dub... You might enjoy my trippy lemonade dub. But you might not like the synths in it. Wow. I'm half asleep here too to tell you the truth. Keep up the good reviews, SeeD419 (ff8 reference / 1 number short of 420??)

Btw, couldn't help but notice that you have Aphex Twin's logo as your icon and that you quote Richard D. James in your profile. That kinda makes you my hero.

I develop stuff.
