Hmm

Well the first, 30 seconds were strange. The next entire minute was kinda boring and sounded strange. After that it seems like you added some creepy static, and then a lot of the sounds in the beginning that repeated so long were cut out. Almost relieving. Sounds like you added some church bells at the very end. I didn't like the high pitches towards the beginning of the song at all. Way too shrill, but the second half of the song really seems to capture the creepy mood. I mean, I'm typing in my room in the dark and I half expect to look over and see a dead body or something.

Overall it's a pretty creepy sounding track, I could see it being used it a scary flash game, but nothing I'd ever listen to in the car or ipod.

I can definitely see where you're coming from, this was way back before i had any real musical experience whatsoever so yea it's not exactly my best creation.
i appreciate the input though, so thanks anyway

Woah

I'm getting stereo raped in my headphones right now, and listening to a bunch of interesting noises....

Okay I like where you introduced the bass quite a bit. The notes you chose for this are pretty good. Fantastic piano work here.

Okay 3:15 was pretty sick. Now I'm listening to what sounds like a warped guitar solo or something. Doesn't sound all that moving though...the whole track really isn't all that moving to be honest. I can hear the effort that went into this, and how you placed all the notes sounds good, it's just not really all that moving to me. I'll still give you a 9/10 just for pure effort and sound, but this isn't something I'd ever listen to voluntarily.

RetromanOMG responds:

Understood. Still, it's nice that you liked it the one time you listened, lol.

Better

I like the beat on this one a lot, it just gets me how short it is. If you had continued this track and introduced some drums...oh man...that's really what I'd like to hear. Like right where the track ends, continue that same beat, but introduce a sick drum beat and keep rapping. THAT would be golden my friend. Just a bit of constructive criticism hope it helps =) So far you've got a great voice, a great beat here, some interesting lyrics, I just really feel like it should have gone somewhere because it felt like it was just about to go crazy and it ended :(

lol, keep up the good work man.

Not bad

Well the beat was kinda lacking IMO but the vocals were interesting. It seems like you put a lot of time behind the words and had interesting rhymes but I don't see where you've listed them for us to read on this particular track. You should put them in the author's comments on this one too because that's like the main part of this piece.

Not bad overall though as it showcases your obvious lyrical talent. Keep up the good work.

Not bad

Interesting sound you've tried to make here, I really like the drums in this one. The piano seemed a little out of place, but that's just me. Doesn't really sound like a dnb song if you ask me, but NG isn't great on giving us the appropriate genre's so I'll give you a break on that, lol. The electronic melodies seemed to carry the beat pretty well, so no criticism there.

I'd keep it up and make sure to keep making sick drum loops because it sounds like your strong point.

Well

It certainly sounds very Halloweenish and spooky. Perfect for a halloween flash (too bad I fail at flash).

Obviously this is not something I would ever listen to voluntarily like in my car or something, but like I said, as far as for a flash it's perfect. The only criticism I could really give you would be that some of the volume changes seemed a bit extreme. I have stereo headphones and and when the volume cranked up I was like WOAH, had to turn down the volume. Not a big deal though, and other than that - good work.

Jaspeer responds:

Yeah. Thanks for the great review. The dramatic volume changes, we're pretty dramatic. But i guess i liked it that way.

Not bad

Although this certainly isn't my type of music, and I would never listen to it voluntarily, it is good. Seems like you did a really good job with it and I'm not sure why it has such a low score. It almost looks like people were just voting unfairly, so I just want to let you know it's not that bad at all.

I'm guessing that's probably why you asked for constructive criticism on this track, so I'm just trying to explain what I think happened, lol. It's a great track and deserves a MUCH higher score that a .80, that's ridiculous. I would think at least a 2 if I had to vote, but I'm giving you a 5 to make up for the unfair votes. Keep up the good work regardless.

Stargenx responds:

Thanks for the review! :)

lol

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's hilarious that you made a 'fake' live version. You added sound clips of crowds cheering in your song LOL. Hilarious and innovative. "Lets hope you all enjoy the song as much as the fake crowd did" LOL!! Hilarious man. I've never once heard someone do that before. The song itself is pretty standard trance. I, too, have stereo headphones and I'm impressed with the channel panning you did with this tune. I'm not really a trance fan, more electronic, but I used to get into it so I can still kinda feel it sometimes.

Around 3 minutes the melody was just awesome, and the crowd sounded very appropriate :) I mean, I don't even get into trance anymore and I like this, so that's impressive in and of itself. I suppose just for the sake of pure length and effort you obviously put into this I'll bump you up a point because most songs on here aren't a full 8 minutes. I might just have to download this one.

Not bad

The beat is great, the vocals aren't bad either - they don't come off as cheesy which is amazing. It's also nice that all the words are really clear, I didn't even have to look at the lyrics you wrote to understand what you were saying. You should really consider finishing this because it's just too short and I could see this being totally epic if it was a full song.

Keep up the good work.

Amazing

I just played this in a game that just came in the portal just now and the beat had me drawn into this trance and I couldn't miss a single note O.O

Awesome. Keep up the good work.
