Decent

It's a good beat honestly, but the track like you said is very empty. Listening to this by itself is extremely repetitive and boring. As it stands, it just doesn't have much substance. It's a great hip hop track, but just not very interesting to listen to you know...

If you want it as a standalone track you need to make some serious changes to it, either that or find someone to put some vocals alongside the beat.

Nothing much else to say. I can hear where you changed elements of the beat all the way to the end, but they just aren't very substantial or interesting to listen to by itself. I mean the dubstep wob wob bass is cool, just a little bit late lol. Keep up the good work though, good luck finding someone to fill the gap.

Higher quality?

Are you kidding? lol The first thing I thought when this started playing was holy shit the quality on this is amazing. Sounds very crisp and precise. The journey this song takes you on is just ridiculous. From the weird noises at the beginning, to the sick baseline, to the calming part, and back. Wow. I absolutely love the background noises you added to this, so interesting and keep the beat from becoming stale. Also the constant changes in the main melody are great as well.

I must say, I'm going to have to download this. So much variety and epic sounds here. The basslines are epic. I think the popping noise that's only in the left channel might have been overdone a bit, like you could have turned down the volume just a tad, or maybe made it a slightly different sound. Other than that it's a masterpiece. Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Yeah, the quality differences between V3 and V0 might be a bit meager unless you're really paying close attention, but regardless, I'm glad you liked the track! I try hard to keep everything fresh and varied, so I'm glad I pulled that off for ya :) Thanks!

Sick

LOL wow that was sick. Okay, where to begin, lol. The beat throughout the entire song was sick and matched perfectly, I really don't have much criticism for that. I'm glad you added the lyrics to us to read along. Most of those are hilarious and well thought out. The effects on the vocals are also great and interesting.

I'm giving you a 10, but I think there's a couple things you can do to touch this up. Not sure if you're actually going to, but I'll tell you anyway. The main verse, the huge one, I think could use a little bit of work. I know it would be a total pain in the ass to have to rap the whole thing over again and remix the song to match it, so I'm not expecting you to even bother, but in the future I have a tip. 90% of the main verse was sick, but a couple parts did come off a tad cheesy. Not bad, just a little bit cheesy.

I think if you added some pauses in the vocals and maybe a break in the beat it would be WAY sick. I hope you know what I mean when I say that. Like midway through the main verse just stop with the vocals and let the beat carry out for a couple measures you know? Just to let the last word soak in a bit. I hope that makes sense.

Anway, yeah all the other vocals are sick, and the effects are great. I'm giving you a 10 for humor, effort, and a sick beat. I think I should give you a 9 really because I found a couple things I would change, but based on the pure effort I'll give you a 10 to motivate you to keep going because I can see a lot of potential here. It has a real ICP/gangster feel to it and it just sounds sick. Keep up the good work guys, and hopefully you understand what I was getting at.

I totally hear you my dude. My man Slaughterizer made the beat and all that... He lives in another province so we had to do it all over the computer, by sending my part to him, his part to me, getting the feel for it etc etc etc. It's tough to do that and not actually have any contact in person.
He did a great job with the beat, I had a beat that my other friend hooked me up with, that I wanted to use.. But he made that one completely from scratch, sent me it and let me listen to it and what not.
Then I recorded my part, without any breaks in between, I told him to put some breathing space in between but it never happened I guess... THEN he recorded his parts, the parts where the vocals got the sort of 'distorted' vocals or something, not sure how to explain them... But the first vocals, and last are Slaughterizer, the long ass verses are all me. I did that all at once too, I know a lot of artists who have to record one part, stop recording, put it on the track, record the next, and repeat basically... I'm not for that though, in a way against it.
I like the way the track turned out and it ended up being better than expected.
It was a hard track to do, but it turned out very well in my opinion.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the good review!

Wow

I must admit I'm a bit impressed. The way you blended all of this together is amazing. What a nice full complete sound! Fantastic arrangement. I like the instruments you picked, they sound great together. Nothing really else to say, because you didn't create the original song, but as a remix, it's great. Keep up the good work.

Cimba responds:

Thank you =)

Meh

Sounds okay, but the drums really stick out like a sore thumb to me. They just don't blend well with the rest of the piece at all in my opinion. The main melody is great though. I'm not big into classical music, but to me this just sounds like it needs a little bit of TLC before I would consider it complete.

Not really much else to say about this...Work on blending everything together so you get a nice full, complete sound. As it sits now I can hear each separate instrument and it sounds like it's kinda doing its own thing lol.

Weirdness is right

You definitely used some strange sounds and melodies throughout the piece but I think you executed it very well. I like things that don't sound mainstream and this just screams creativity to me, so for that I commend you.

A few of the melodies you used really stuck out and sounded great. Even though this really shouldn't sound good by any means, you pulled it off okay. I mean, you admitted that you didn't really spend much time on it, that and it's only 2 instruments. So, knowing that it's pretty amazing that it's tolerable to listen to at all.

I wouldn't say it's something I'd voluntarily listen to again, like in the car or something, but it's an interesting piece still.

Keep up the good work.

Ohh

A story track? This is something I've never seen in the audio portal before. There isn't even a proper genre for this, lol.

Well, as far as the audio track is concerned, it's a nice little tune. Perfect for a game, most likely an RPG, and I can totally imagine paging through character dialogue. It looks like you've provided the dialogue for us to read as well, lol. I don't really understand the story at all, I'll be honest. Maybe you should number your tracks? (1of5) or something like that so people don't start in the wrong place. Without the numbers it's just impossible to figure out where to begin with how many tracks you have.

Anyway, maybe that's not what you were going for, it just looks like it. Good track overall. Nothing I'd listen to voluntarily, but I think it would be absolutely perfect for an RPG.

you can listen from beginning till end by guide of the first uploaded till the last, the whole album is uploaded wholly in order.

Nice

Not bad, the main melody is pretty awesome and I like how you blended it all together. It seems to flow very well, and the name you gave it seems totally appropriate after listening to it. I'm also glad that you switched up the main melody a tad so it doesn't get overly repetitive or boring.

The stereo panning you did is absolutely awesome. I'm not sure if that was intentionally, because it sounds pretty subtle, but it sounds just awesome in my headphones.

I think at some point the beat does get a little stale halfway through the song. I don't have really any suggestions of the top of my head, but I think you could have switched it up a bit and added something to make it sound more complete. Other than that a pretty solid track, just a tad repetitive at one point. Keep up the good work.

DavidRx responds:

thx :3 and yea the panning i did the panning both on the automation and did some fx's on the vst so it do it automaticly

it indeed gets kinda boring because i only did use 15 instruments O,o

but i did automate it alot...and i personaly like the final part without the kick :3

and i will :3 thx for reviewing

Nice

Not bad, I like what you've done here quite a bit. I'm not a huge fan of happy hardcore stuff, but I do like the main melody. The bassline you introduced was also pretty cool, but I'm going to have to agree that the ending came a bit to abruptly. I'd figure out a different way to end the song for sure. That and play with the melody a bit. Although it sounds sweet, the song really didn't go quite where I thought it might. It just seems to be missing something, and I don't mean in any of the parts you've already created, it just seems like such a sick clip that a little bit over a minute doesn't quite do it justice for me.

I think if you expanded this into a full 3 or 4 minute song plus, it would be a total gem for sure. Love the beat though! Keep up the good work. Make this longer and I'd favorite it in a heartbeat.

Pretty cool

Well it's definitely an interesting mix. A lot of different synths and noises going on here, and they're all blended together very well. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. The melodies you used are all pretty good, especially the high pitched part, I like that quite a bit. The song seems well put together to be honest, but nothing really stands out to me. I'm kinda out of the Trance stage I used to be in though, so maybe that's why it's all starting to sound the same to me. Fantastic blending on this piece though, flows very well. Keep up the good work.

flight39 responds:

Well, I know that I usually learn by making more generic stuff first and kind of getting a feel for the genre before going out and experimenting. So I hope to make more interesting stuff in the future.
Thanks for reviewing!
