Nice

Well done coop, this sounds great. I'm jealous of your accent. The tone of your voice was pretty much right on in setting the mood for the poem. It was pretty obvious the couple times you stopped because of the pauses in sound, which interrupted the flow a tad, but it wasn't terrible. The way you read the poem, however, was pretty much perfect though, and you seem to have a good voice for it.

At first I thought this was your own poem and I was about to be shocked. It is a really good poem actually, but it would be better if you had written your own just for the sake of it being your own work.

Constructive criticism aside, I enjoyed listening to this. It's a fantastic poem and you did an excellent job reading it. Keep up the good work.

I wish that I could write poetry so well, but alas - I will be submitting a few more pieces of my own audio over the next few weeks. I'm aiming to have 6 pieces submitted to the AP by the end of 2010, so that's another 3 at minimum.

Sick

Now that's a sick hip hop beat if I've ever heard one. The bass line is just filthy and has just the right sound to it. The percussion is slow but carries the melody very well. The pauses seemed a bit awkward, but I suppose if you plan on someone rapping over this it might work a lot better. The voice samples you used are great and blend so well it's a joke.

Amazing beat. Keep up the good work.

Not bad

I think the highlight of the song was totally the crazy fast guitar part. That was really cool. Most of the guitar riffs in this tune blended well together and sounded pretty catchy. The drums weren't near as repetitive and lifeless as another song I remember reviewing of yours, but I still think they could use a bit of work, I'm just not sure what really. Maybe cut down on the crashes.

The intro to the song was really creative and sounded great. I think you did a fantastic job of slowly easing it in before totally exploding into that ridiculously awesome guitar part.

I enjoyed this, keep it up.

Not bad

Not too bad at all, as a work in progress that is. It sounds far from complete though to me. Seems like it's missing more drums and some pads at least. The melody you have here though is very good. Especially the beginning and the end parts were very catchy in my opinion.

There are no rules in music so having a 'bland' song doesn't really mean much. It does have, as Rabid said, a mild disjointed feel at times though. It's almost if the song was about to totally fall apart, and then by some miracle came back with another melody, lol. Interesting track to say the least.

Too bad you lost the file and it will forever be an unfinished piece, but it's not necessarily a bad track at all. Keep up the good work.

[Chaoz Fantasy Rock/Orch.]

Not bad

I hate to be a wet blanket, but I didn't really like the original tune. The melody just isn't really something I ever got into, but honestly I like this one better. Pure-Metal is a good guy and he did a great job with the guitar work, as I would have expected. The cover parts you did sound great, and a lot like the melody, just in your own style. I've tried to do cover songs in the past and I know it's not easy, so props on that.

Not much else to say really, like I said this tune was never really my cup of tea, but you did a fantastic job recreating it and putting your own spin on it. It looks like your effort really paid off. The mixing seems right on, and the guitar doesn't overpower the main melody. Good work with this, keep it up.

Haha, never knew people who didn't like the Chaoz Fantasy tune even exist, TBH lol. Well, it's good to be different I guess :P.

I'm really glad you like it. I don't think it's as good as the original (or at least mixing-wise and percussion-wise it sure isn't) but I'll take it as a compliment.

Thanks. I enjoy doing remixes and covers now and again. They help me when I'm in the dreaded writer's block.

Not bad

It's not a bad track at all really, not really my style at all, but it does sound quite latin and relaxing. I kinda picture myself wearing a sombrero and looking over at a good looking mexican chick, raising my eyebrows at her, and then starting to salsa dance or something.

Sounds very pleasant indeed, and I don't really have much criticism for it. All the sounds blend together in a calming latin-jazz mix and it sounds good and totally conveys what you were aiming for.

The ending was a great touch in my opinion. Keep up the good work.

Love dnb but this isn't really all that catchy in my opinion. The bass line is pretty dirty and everything blends really well together but it's nothing I'd listen to voluntarily. Perfect for madness movies though, and we certainly have enough of those to go around.

Overall I'd say you have a great style, this song really wasn't my cup of tea, but it sounds like you put a lot of effort into it and it is really smooth, I just didn't think the notes were all that moving. Keep up the good work, regardless.

Well I'm not sure the main melody is near as creative as your other stuff, well obviously since it is a cover, but it just isn't all that catchy. Sounds great with the synths you used though. Both of them blend really well.

The drums weren't anything really special, but sounded appropriate for the song.

The bass line was much of the same. Wasn't anything extraordinary, but didn't sound out of place either.

Not my favorite of yours, but good work nonetheless. Keep it up.

Lol, just a cover. The mastering and melodies and crap were all from the origional song itself, but Eh, I'm thinking of doing a Zerest remix of this. Maybe I can come up with something. Also a very nice tune. The main melody is very interesting and you don't get tired of it quickly. The synths you used sound great and a sound really bouncy and happy. You must be really talented with the piano.

The drums have a real subtle and professional sound to them, and the background pad sounds great and totally blends in perfect. Much like your other song, this is also awesome. Keep up the great work!!

Lol, thanks man. :D This is when I was trying to figure out a sound for myself, so I made this song as a test in what I can do. Silv3Ster (DJGST) helped me out a bit in the mastering cause I couldn't figure out what I could do with it at the time, but this is what I came up with when making a random melody. I've never taken any Piano lessons so this is just out of my mind for melody. Looks like I've got something that works. :P Thanks for the review.

Well the sounds you used were great, I just don't think they fit well together at all. The intro was fantastic. From the second it started till it faded in I think was pretty good. When the piano came in, it was okay, just sounded a tad out of place. The synth was okay sounding, but I don't think the riff was really my thing. The slides sound good but without the good notes to back them up it didn't really feel uplifting or anything.

The bass line was pretty repetitive, although it did sound good. The drum kick was much the same. When you decided to mix up the main synth and add some skipping and volume changes it sounded alright, but I didn't really like the riff in the first place so it wasn't anything really special to me. The slowdown at the ending seemed way out of place. Like I said before, all the instruments and effects you used in the song are great, but together they just didn't seem to blend or flow at all to me, or at least not in a way that I particularly liked.
