[Danger Global Warming]

Meh

The presentation is awful. You've got some good video editing skills, but zero taste in production. Nobody wants to watch a small embedded youtube player, and the score is an obvious reflection of that. I followed the link to see if maybe the player could be expanded, and found it could be on youtube, but not here. However, you didn't upload this in HD. In fact, I can't even get 480p with this, so it's straight standard definition and it looks terrible expanded anyway - let alone full screen. I'm not really sure why you would render this in SD at all. Not only that, but I guarantee the file size can't be that big. Not near as large as if you rendered this in high quality at least.

As far as the animation/video editing itself, it had a nice feel to it. I probably saw more text flash before my eyes than I've seen in any other video, period. The 'crazy text' effect started to get old really fast and you continued it throughout the entire length of the animation. The little girl was probably the best part about the animation, and I think you could have expanded upon that a bit. The whole video had a great theme to it and I think I understand what you're trying to convey pretty well.

The music was probably the best part about the piece. That track was really good, and it fit the animation amazingly. I was curious about who did the piece but I see you've failed to list it under the "Author and File Information." You're supposed to credit them though. I mean, you could have at least listed the work you put into this, what software you used to produce it, the file size, etc in the author comments.

I checked the comments out on youtube and you listed very little also. Doesn't look like you're a very big name on youtube either. Personally, I have over 20 times more subscribers than you do and my videos are all in Hi def, so you can take my advice or not, it's whatever, but if you want to improve and get some attention to these you should take my advice.

Overall I'd say the editing you've done here is decent, but like I said, a tiny standard definition video just doesn't look all that impressive.

What?

In your comments you said that "it will be taken down asap." How exactly are you going to do that? E-mail an administrator? And if that's the case, why would you upload this at all?

It's essentially a sildeshow of stolen images. I could have played some cheesy Evanescence track and went to google and search "snowy scenery" and accomplished the exact same thing.

The small amount of drawing and maybe 2 animations you did were good, but not near enough to warrant a submission.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I don't understand why you would upload this at all. I don't find this entertaining, skilled, creative, or original in the slightest. 95% of this submission is not your own work.

This wasn't supposed to be very awesome, it's just homework. I got a text and was supposed to find pictures and music that suited it, so I guess you'd have to read the text to understand it.

And the reason for why I uploaded it was that my school has blocked deviantArt and my teacher couldn't open the file. As for how I'm going to take the stuff down... If I have to e-mail an administrator, then that's what I'm going to do.

They're pretty funny loops, especially the Taco one, but I don't think a whole lot of effort was put into this. It's nice to see a collab though instead of just one of these as a spam submission. The medals were certainly a nice touch though, as I probably wouldn't be here otherwise.

Got one of the secret medals, no clue about the other one. Worst loop is definitely kill them all though...

Pretty entertaining flash. At least it keeps you wanting to watch to find out what's going to happen. I think the cursor was a neat idea and made this far more interesting. The effort shows, although I see room for improvement. The sprites look great for the most part, and all the animation seems to flow well.

Not really much else to say about this. It wasn't overly amusing or funny, but still entertaining and well done. Keep up the good work.

Wow

Probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen in my life to be honest. The drawings were okay, and the animation was lazy obviously, but the cat screaming was just priceless.

The track was pretty much perfect. Might have to download that one.

You could have done a lot better on the drawings and animation but it was still pretty epic. Keep up the good work.

Nice work on this. The drawings were all amazing, the animation was good, the jokes were actually funny, the voice acting was amazing, and the sounds and music were all appropriate and timed correctly. Not really anything to criticize. Looks like you even made the music yourself? Crazy. The intro was also pretty badass, fyi. Keep up the good work I'd love to see more from you.

Not bad

The frantic pace wasn't really bad per se, I mean hell, it gives it good replay value right? (wtf did I just see?) The song was okay, I mean it suited the insanity quite well. All the sprites looked good, and I think it's really cool that you made them yourself. Too short? Yeah, it could be longer...

As for your questions, I don't think mustache was too active. It was just funny and added to the pure insanity of the flash. As for adding sound effects...I didn't really see where it was necessary. I mean I watched the whole thing and at no point did it occur to me, "hey, this needs sound effects!" It just kinda looked like it was the nature of the animation. I suppose you can try and add some at low volume, and see if it looks okay...not sure.

All in all it seemed to flow well. I liked the totally random insane style of it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad someone appreciates the sprites, they took a long time to make. As for the sound effects I guess I'll keep them out and the other guy who answered my questions seemed to agree on the mustache.

Nice!

A perfect example of an underdog and most likely under appreciated author here. No flashy ridiculous graphics here, but still a great flash. The plot was obviously well thought out, and executed well. The voice acting was pretty good, and the sounds were all appropriate and timed well, as well as some tasteful music. The humor was actually pretty funny as well, which always helps.

I'd say in the future you could improve your drawings and animation, but as it sits it's not terrible. Everything was easily distinguishable, and your animation was good for the most part. You captured the facial expressions pretty well, and although the story was short and to the point, it was funny and easy to follow.

Good work, keep it up.

This probably deserves a review because it was really good. The drawings and animation were good, not amazing, but good enough to see what was going on everywhere and certainly at least average. The music and sounds were all good and appropriate. The plot was great because all the humor in the video was actually funny, which is usually hard to find, lol.

So I'd say 9/10, if you cleaned up your drawings a bit and worked on the animation a tad I'd give you a full blown 10. I am glad that you made this so long though, it was quite a show. I'd give you a firm 9 for sure, probably a 9.4 if I could rate with decimals =) Keep up the good work.

It's obvious that you're learning, but I like your style already. It's better than 80% of the 'first animation' videos around here. Reminds me of that eerie salad fingers kinda flash right off the bat. Very short obviously, but I kinda like how he opens his mouth and just weird noises come out. That and the background is pretty good. Obviously could be a lot longer - that would be much more enjoyable. As it sits, it's kinda funny but there's no story and not much to watch.

I'd say you're well on your way to making good flashes. Keep up the good work.
