Great!

Well, the program really isn't much, but the function is serves is amazing. Just using this for all of about 5 minutes and using the random audio button I've found 3 great tunes. What an idea. Just a totally random submission. Some of these never even received a proper review :( What a shame.

The coding all seems to work as promised, and I'm glad you added a help button with all the information you could possibly need so there isn't any question about it. The 'audio page' function was a fantastic implementation as well.

Not a bad little flash applet overall. I'd love to see you make some future improvements and create a new version down the road, but as it sits, it's a neat gadget that serves a purpose that nothing else on newgrounds really does. Keep up the good work.

Hey there, glad you liked my gadget, to organize all your ideas to the review I will reply them by your texts.

I'm really glad you liked this gadget and also that is the porpuse from the random audio, to give the player a random sound which can be enterteining.

Now, I absolutely know that my help button really is useful. Thanks for like my 'audio page' button, they actually have two motives from appearence, one: give the player the option to visit the page to leave a review or vote to the promised submission. Two: Avoid stupid reviews about using your audio while you don't want, because while submitting your audio track to Newgrounds your song will be free of charge.

Again, thanks for like my work.

See you around.

lol

Just like the movie! Awesome, lol. Now, as a general rule, I refuse to play 3rd person driving games, at least not in overhead view. I would highly prefer a first person mode, or at least a behind car camera. I assume this is WAY harder to animate and draw all the scenery, but I had to say it. Reminds me off that off-road arcade game that was all over the place years back. I always sucked at it, and I suck at this too, lol.

The controls take some serious getting used to, but after a couple laps on each track and memorizing where the big turns are, it's not so bad. The HUD does need to be improved, as I could never tell what lap I was on. A wrong way indicator would also be nice to have, as well as a pop-up icon of what current weapon/ability is active, and maybe a small timer.

The game does have a few glitches, some being a tad detrimental, other just minor. A minor glitch being I found a way to drive through several different large crates on the second map. Not a huge issue, just a heads up. One of the more serious issues was when I swear I was in first place and hadn't been passed, I still finished in third. Not sure if it missed a lap on the game, or what really happened there. If you had implemented a lap counter, I at least could have deduced that possibility, or given you a proper lap count glitch report.

The main menu and level select screens were great, as were the ability to select multiple different cars and drivers. I love that aspect and I really have no criticism for those elements of the game.

The sounds were all totally appropriate. Nothing like hearing the machine gun fire away! Although I could never really tell how much damage I was actually doing, or when I was making contact with another driver. Maybe implementing some hitmarkers (oh god a call of duty reference) would solve this issue. Maybe having them flash red? Just a thought.

The music did get a tad bit repetitive, and only mainly because I kept hearing "welcome to death racers" over and over again. The beat itself was fast paced and suited the game well.

Overall it's a fun game, with TONS of potential. I think if you polished it up a bit, it would be just plain epic. On a positive note this is the best driving game I've played on Newgrounds so far. Driving games are just NOT easy to pull off in flash at all. There's just so many elements that are extremely time consuming so I commend you on taking on such an enormous task and executing it better than many have done for years.

Keep up the good work!

Nice

What a fun game. Pretty creative and I like how all the birds have their own separate abilities and have to work together to take down the ships. The music and sound effects are fantastic. They don't get irritating at all and seem totally appropriate. The graphics in the game are also really pleasing to look at, it's all very colorful.

I only made it to level 30 and then I lost my patience because the cloud was moving too slow, lol. But still a pretty great game! Keep up the good work!

Not bad

The game is fun to play, and really easy to figure out. Aside from a couple bugs I found, it's enjoyable at least.

The first thing I found, is that for most of the stages you don't even have to use all the pieces to complete it. I found super easy ways and just blew through most of them. Half the time you can not really even jump all the way to something, get glitched in it, and jump on top of it when you really should have fallen to your death instead.

The second thing I found, is that you really don't have to play the game it was designed to be played at all. I figured out a technique where I just jump across the whole level, while grabbing items from up above quickly, and setting them down in mid air so I can jump off them, then grabbing the next item, setting that down in mid air, and jumping off that, until I get to the end of the level. I beat the last level the first time using this block jumping method.

Other thant that it's a decent game, music is good, and pretty fun to play. As for the glitches idk what you can do. I suppose if you had a rule that all the pieces must be placed before you run through that would solve those problems completely, but I think it would also make some of the levels impassable.

Nonetheless, keep up the good work.

*Sigh*

Oh cool, another game where you run into a place where it totally isn't self-evident what the hell to do. So I'm sitting the the bottom of the ocean, and I was TOTALLY randomly told to select a battery. The message was so fast and random and I just fell to the bottom. I held space and selected the battery a hundred times. I'm just stuck here. I've pressed every combination of keys I can even think to press. So, I guess I'm giving up because you failed to list what I'm supposed to do. Thanks a lot.

I'm docking you a whole four points just for principle. This isn't the first game I've played like this and I'm sick and tired of authors just assuming that we're supposed to know what the hell to do. Seriously dude, wtf am I supposed to press? Idk, maybe LIST IT ON THE SCREEN? Ever think of that?

Music is great, and the graphics are okay. The whole game up to this point was just kind of me searching around for something, then it turned into me searching for what button to press, and I'm giving up because it's ridiculous. I've pressed all the obvious keys and tried everything, and this is just completely retarded.

Thanks for wasting my time. I have no idea what happens in later levels, and even if you fix the game, I won't be replaying the game just for principle.

Donitz responds:

The controls are explained in the dialogue messages which do not disappear by themselves. But just in case I put them in the description as well. As explained. Use C to use the equipped item.

Not bad

Seems like a pretty fun little game. The music is calming and peaceful, the concept is original, or at least, I haven't seen anything like it before. The graphics are good, and the animation is all decent. The animation at the end of a level doesn't bother me at all, lol. I kinda like it actually. Good game overall. Concept is neat and the game is catchy. Keep up the good work.

My review! :(

Well I suppose I can review it again. What happened?

Like I said, the game is awesome, and I'm still playing it. Love the sounds, the concept, the graphics. I'm glad you added some new modes and achievements. Maybe you should have added some NG medals as well while you were at it. That would have gotten it listen on the games with medals page as well as brought more attention to the game. Maybe something to think about.

Oh well, like I said before lol, great game keep up the good work ;)

ThinXIII responds:

Oh sorry about that, I re-submitted the game with the achievements update. So I took the first one out. Anyway Thanks again. :D

Okay...

Think of any two digit number. 10. Add them. 1. Subtract total from original number (as shown in the example) 10-1. 9. Okay, I clicked the blue circle and instead of getting the number I'm given a strange chinese symbol instead...and to be honest, even with the window maximized, I can't tell the different between 8 and 9's symbol really. It looks like the program was wrong and it's showing me the one for 8 because of the additional line.

So review. This doesn't really do much. It's difficult to see and use, and my test results of if it actually works are inconclusive, but leaning towards no, it doesn't. If the only thing it was designed to do doesn't work, then all I can really give you any credit for is designing a chart and a sparkling star button. The only problem is your chart isn't very well thought out at all. The symbols are too small even with the window maximized to read, and you should have just used standard numbers.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't appeal to me at all. Please improve this.

lol!

I beat it ;) Nice! Pretty tough actually, you gotta have your cursor just lined up and you gotta be quick! I wish you would have expanded upon this and made more levels. That really could have turned into an epic game. Maybe a project for the future? The sounds were okay, and the animation and drawings were mostly all good. One bit of criticism is that the gun that we have looks like a shotgun. Shouldn't that be a magnum or something? Just a thought...

Otherwise a good game. Very short, but challenging. Keep up the good work I'd love to see another one of these.

Manfredo responds:

Congratulation for beating the game !
Expanding on this may be a good idea for the future, especially with my now much improved fash skills.

Great

Great concept. I'm not so sure what the story behind all this is, but I'm assuming we have crash landed on a distant planet and now I'm trying to account for all of my crew before launching the distress beacon? Seems easy enough to play, a bit creepy and myserious as well. The concept I love, and the music is great. Although it seems I have been able to locate almost all of the items, I seem to be missing a few crew members hmm.

It doesn't look like you've posted a walkthrough. I think you should also expand upon the game in your author comments section. Tell us more about it, the story, how long it took you to make, etc.

Keep up the good work.
